Dave Parlin moved to Mid-coast Maine in early 2020 to pursue a long-held dream: owning a bed and breakfast.   Dave is honored to be at the helm of Abigail’s Inn and uphold the gracious tradition of this historic home. Dave was born and raised in Maine before migrating to the mid-west to pursue a college education. After nearly 40 years of a rewarding corporate career in Chicago, he has moved back to the Mid-Coast area to experience the new adventure of being an innkeeper. He is pleased to welcome new faces and old friends to Abigail’s, and to the tranquility and beauty of Camden, Maine. Dave promises that you will be comfortable, rested and well fed.

Stephen joined Dave at Abigail's in 2023 and has enjoyed sharing in the running of the inn.  He is a Nashville native but has spent a lot of time in Maine over the last ten years.  Stephen's career as an architect and landscape designer for 35 years was service-oriented.  Taking care of clients and their dreams was great preparation for hosting guests who are visiting Maine for down time and relaxation.  Stephen enjoys cooking alongside Dave, gardening here in the cool summers and entertaining the dogs and chickens.

Farley (lower) and Chloe are essential members of the Abigail’s Inn team. As rescues, they constantly remind us about the importance of welcoming, enjoying and caring for our guests. They look forward to greeting you!
