Hoping for an early Spring!

So winter has not produced the snow or the cold of last year, consequently, we are hoping for an early spring.  With that in mind there are some fun events coming up in what is still the off-season.

The Camden Opera House has Jungle Jack Hanna coming on March 4, 2016 which should be a great show for all ages.  Jack Hanna has made frequent appearances on the Tonight Show and The Late Night with David Letterman.  There will be numerous animals for the audience to see and learn about.  Tickets are going fast so visit www.camdenoperahouse.com to reserve yours today.  Also, while on the Camden Opera House page see all the upcoming events.  If you are planning on coming up to stay and see a show let us know and we will give you a 10% discount on your room.

Maine Restaurant Week kicks off on March 1 and goes to March 12, 2016.  This is a great time to come and enjoy the culinary delights that Camden and the surrounding areas have to offer. Most restaurants will be offering specially priced three course meals for you to savor.  We will happily make reservations for you at participating restaurants.

Finally, if you just want to be outdoors Camden Hills State Park has tons of beautiful trails to hike.  Also, the Camden Snow Bowl will be open for skiing as long as they have some snow on the ground.  The new redevelopment at the Snow Bowl has opened up more beginner skiing trails, as well as, great hiking and biking trails.  New this year, you can rent Fat Tire bikes from Sidecountry Sports right at the Snow Bowl making it easy for you to check out all the new bike terrain.

There is plenty to do in the "quiet season" so come take advantage of less people and lower room rates.  We hope to see you in the coming weeks.
